“We are committed to offering the best standards in all our products. To this end, we have a Quality and Food Safety Policy that cuts across all our plants and branches of the Chile, Peru and Agrozzi Divisions. Our management starts at the stage of cultivation and harvesting of raw materials, making significant progress in the implementation of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) standard, which seeks to safeguard the safety and quality of food, allowing us to establish preventive and corrective measures in the production chain. When applying this standard to our suppliers, those that are evaluated as high risk under its parameters and that do not have the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) food safety certification, are subject to an audit where their actual control systems are evaluated, generating a follow-up of a sample of their products. The HALAL Certification and KOSHER Certification ensure the suitability of the products for the Islamic and Jewish communities for 100% of the pulp, pulp and juice concentrates from the Nos and Teno plants, thus allowing export to Middle Eastern markets. In addition, more than 100 tons per year of apple pulp produced at Agrozzi’s Teno plant are certified organic by the Swiss certifying company IMO, which guarantees that the raw materials used in the processes are grown in pesticide-free fields, through annual analyses of both the farmers and our company. Undoubtedly, huge advances that aim to encourage good practices in order to deliver products synonymous with health and excellence.
